What Is HDSFL?

HDSFL is an acronym for High Definition Stock Footage Library. The PPS Group is one of the first facilities in the region to gain HD capabilities. PPS has over 5 years of HD production, editing, and library experience.

How do I search for a desired clip?

Under the search page there are two SEPERATE options available for you to search. Keyword enables you to type a word that describes what you are looking for. If this word matches any of the description listings, your shot will appear. category offers a listing of 13 different categories that each shot falls under. These two search features work separate from one another. If anything is listed inside the category search feature it will default to that search. If you wish to search for a keyword, please make sure the category field is blank.

Can I preview clips online?

Yes. Once you have searched for a clip, your results listing will have video previews available for each shot in both QuickTime and Windows Media formats.

How can I get a screener copy of my clip(s)?

You are not obligated to obtain a screener copy, however if you would like a preview dub, please contact the PPS Group (Contact Us) about shipping for a VHS or DVD screener copy (with a time code window) of your desired clips for preview. The charge for this is $100.00.

Can I purchase clips online?

Yes, each clip online is available to purchase. Simply select the add to Cart button for each shot you wish to purchase. When you are ready to place your order, select the checkout button to begin the ordering process.

How will I be charged for each clip?

A clip is based simply on the quantity of shots you wish to purchase. You are charged on a per clip basis. We do not charge per second on any clip. If you purchase a 0:05 clip or a 0:30 clip, the price will be the same for each clip.

When I am ready to finish my order what determines the total price?

Your purchase depends on a number of factors that you fill out within your order form: How many clips will I purchase? Is this for broadcast or non-broadcast? If broadcast is it local, regional or national? How long will I need this clip? And finally, what format do I wish to receive my clip(s) on.

How does payment work?

HDSFL (the PPS Group) requires full payment before master elements are shipped. Your confirmation page and e-mail are considered your receipt for purchase. HDSFL (the PPS Group) accepts American Express, Visa & MasterCard.

Do I own the clip(s) after I buy it?

No, the video makers own and retain their own copyrights. The PPS Group and its partners maintain full rights to each available clip online. You are purchasing a royalty free user license. Please read the privacy statement page if you are unsure of your rights.

How do I receive my clip?

HDSFL (the PPS Group) will ship master elements to the shipping address you provided when filling out your order process. HDSFL (the PPS Group) also offers a pickup for master elements if you are within the local area. Both of these options are provided for you on your order form.
